To get started, click the button at the bottom of the page, then browse through categorized clips in the system and find the one you would like to dub over. Clicking on the “Dub” button below the desired clip will take you to the creation flow and you can start recording. Once you’re done recording, click “Next” to add a caption and language to your dub. Clicking on “Post” will submit your dub. For a detailed Simple Mode tutorial, check out the video below:
To get started, click the button at the bottom of the page, then click on the “My Clips” tab on top. Click on the “Upload a Clip” button and select the video you want to upload from your gallery. Adjust the length of the video and make sure its duration is not more than 30 seconds. Once you’re done, click “Done” to add a title and language to your Clip. Clicking on “Post” will submit your clip for processing and you shall receive a notification informing you whether your clip was approved and ready for use. Please note, that your clip must adhere to the clip upload guidelines which are:
1. Do not post abusive, offensive, inappropriate, or copyright content.
2. Use full screen, high-quality videos for the best results.
3. Add a short title so that others can find your clip.
To use a voice filter, click the recorded segment and select the voice filter icon while on the Create page.
To find videos on a certain topic, go to the Explore page and enter the search title in the Search bar on top.
The best way to suggest a clip is to upload it into the app by clicking on “Upload a Clip” under the tab My Clips on the Create screen.
There are several reasons why Dubs might get deleted. If your Dub was deleted, then it must not be in agreement with our platform-specific community guidelines that ensure quality in the king content being created and uploaded on the app. Your Dub might also get deleted if one or more users report it with specific reasons that do not adhere to the community guidelines which are No Copyright infringement, No Nudity or sexual content, No Illegal activities, No Harassment or Violence, and No spamming.
1.Add Track: This allows you to add multiple tracks on top of the original one, resulting in refined voiceovers.
2.Set In/Out ( ): This helps you select a particular segment on the track to record on top of. You can also select existing recorded segments as well as segments of the track that haven’t been recorded.
3.Equalizer: This option lets you adjust volumes for individual tracks, including the background track.
4.Voice Effects: This feature helps enhance your recording by adding a voice effect to it. MadLipz has 10 exciting voice effects like Robot, Chipmunk, Commentator, Alien, etc.
5.Trim: Allows you to select a recorded segment and adjust the starting and ending for better precision.
6.Shift Left/Right: This option lets you move the recorded segment either to the left or right by 5 video frames on the track for better accuracy.
7.Split: It allows you to divide the selected recording into two segments depending on where you want to break it. This will make it easier for you to modify each of the segments independently (e.g., apply different voice effects, or shift or delete part of the recording only).
8.Delete: This option helps you delete either a recorded segment or a whole track. For a detailed tutorial of the Pro Mode, check out the video below:
To change the volume of my recorded tracks, you can click on the Equalizer icon ( ) on the Create a Dub screen and adjust the volumes for each of the tracks, including the background audio.
To add more tracks, switch to Pro Mode on the Create screen and click on the “Add Track” button ( ) at the bottom.
The Shift option allows you to move the recorded segment either to the left or right by 5 video frames on the track for better accuracy. The Split option allows you to divide the selected recording into two segments depending on where you want to break it. This will make it easier for you to modify each of the segments independently (e.g. apply different voice effects, or shift or delete part of the recording only).
The Trim option lets you trim away part of the recorded audio.
The red dotted boxes indicate where the original dialogues occurred in the clip that you wish to dub on. They make it easier for you to dub exactly where the original characters spoke. They are guides only and it is not required that you fill them in to complete the dub.
